In Vancouver during the late 90s Robert Dayton (July 4th Toilet, Canned Hamm, The Canadian Romantic), Dan Bejar (Destroyer, the New Pornographers) and Julian Lawrence (July Fourth Toilet) recorded an album called "Offshore" under the name Points Gray. A collection of melodramatic hallucinatory downer damage that informed their later work.
